About Me

My name is Gracie Beaham. I’m a student at the University of Kansas, majoring in strategic communications with a minor in Creative Writing. I will also be obtaining a Professional Certificate in Sales and Marketing before graduation. This year I was the recipient of the Loretta Diggs Pendergraft and Keith Pendergraft Journalism Scholarship.

I believe communication is one of the most powerful tools when it is used the right way. The way we choose to communicate holds the ability to make a large impact. I have a strength in understanding how messages will be received and delivering the message in a connective manner.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, which is always worth the mention. I’m the youngest of a very proud KU family. My siblings, parents, and grandparents attended KU, so if you ever need to borrow red or blue, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

 Brand Identity

In my career, I aim to pursue a job that allows me financial freedom. More importantly, it is my intention to be in a working environment that allows me to use my voice. My strength is the ability to bring unique thoughts, strategies, and ideas to life.

I strive to create impact through building connections within people, businesses, and social dynamics. I want to be able to communicate with mass groups of people from various walks of life.

In high school, I annually received the Presidential Award, rewarded to those who serve 100 to 250 hours of community service during the school year. I learned the amount of good that can come from a group, organization, or team actively working towards improvement.
